I think the most important two things that you can do ... is

1-to find the ANEMIA

 Being 'cold to the core' ... dizziness and the 'chills' are also signs of 'the anemia'

I suspect you are looking for acquired ... approaching ... AUTOIMMUNE hemolytic anemia that 2-butoxyethanol causes

 A proper view of CFIDS, CFS, FM with helps for doctor to find the FATIGUE

and

2- Avoid BUTYL


My system is also maxed out (though to a lesser degree than you)
and whenever I get around ethylene glycol monobutyl ether
or other BUTYL products ... I get either the sniffles, to congestion ... to DIARRHEA

ALMOST immediately ... say within 5 minutes (listen to your body for 'right now exposure' & avoid Butyl exposure

Next thing for me will be joint pain, but a couple of times when that started up
I took ambrotose (a glyconutrient powder) and it backed off

The most important study that could be done to point out the harm of 2-butoxyethanol

would be to find out what happened to the Exxon Valdez Oil spill cleanup workers who were the 1000 'bioremediation workers and the US Coast Guard who monitored the experiment in 1989

They also cleaned up an oil spill ... however, you are talking about a common chemical exposure that you both have in common ... and about the same point in time, and young health (to start with) young men. No one seems to know what happened to these. Even with 440 million spent to find the cause of 'gulf war illness' we are no closer to finding out ... in fact, it appears that civilians are equally harmed and epidemics of every sort are showing up as to diabetes (a side effect of Butyl exposure), cancers, autoimmune issues, Autism, birth defects, miscarriages and infertility, etc, etc, etc)

This chemical won't do just one thing - If you only have one health issue, and/or your parent doesn't have 'the odd assortment of CFIDS symptoms,' don't suspect 2-butoxyethanol poisoning.

If there is shortness of breath, rapid heart-beat, and 'the chills' at end of life, it may be the anemia that has taken their life. (The anemia of CFIDS, CFS, FM that doctors are looking for.)


Exposure to the chemical that would do this.... BUTYL ... looks like 'the flu' ... or 'the sniffles' with diarrhea often. Blood in urine is also a clue to 'the anemia' ... AIHA or IMHA.
