Dear RAC
The IOM hinted at dietary
trials, but mostly supplements. Other than
that I can find no evidence of Gulf War dietary trials.
Would it not be amicable to
do basic diet trials on at least on food
oils. Polyunsaturated versus saturated, hydrogenated versus
nontrans fatty acid, Etc.
Mediterranean diets ( Olive
Oil ) have shown progress in ALS studies.
Fish Oils ( Omega 3, DHA,
EPA, and so on ) have proven very helpful
in lipidemia, and cognition among other issues.
Isn't it time we do some
kind of treatment studies that do not involve
surveys or psychiatric test.
Again, something I will be
addressing in my PowerPoint at the coming
RAC meeting.
Sincerely
Kirt P. Love
Director, DSBR

| You are right
Lorenzo's dad discovered an oil ...
as those with leukodystrophies
(could be one of the birth
defects of those overexposed to 2-butoxyethanol) ... found an
oil. There is a metabolic autoimmune issue going on in which an
enzyme is not there or not working right & people cannot break down
the fatty chains, causing damage to myelin
Good nutrition & glyconutrient
food supplements should be the BEST help for what are many variations of
autoimmune metabolic issues (including diabetes)
Dr. Reg would offer glyconutrients
for free to gulf war vets in a study to show their results, he told me
so. He can provide the product, but doesn't have the tools or
resources to fund the study & checks. There is a trial on
scleroderma now ... check
links about him and the philosophy behind it
Gulf war vets? Vietnam Vets? Korean
& WWII vets?
(These time periods ...Not just a
military problem ... a civilian problem, too)
The
Liver is an organ that helps get rid of toxins,
Does Milk
Thistle
, a natural herb, help the liver?
Also consider
glyconutrients *
AND good nutrition! Bob's
comments on glyconutrients
Mike
says it helped his wife - 'breast cancer'
Autoimmune Disease seems to be
the root cause of much harm.
A
good outlook
Good to focus on good
nutrition!
"Amounts and choices for diet supported health
promotion are only a place to start consumption of the
supplements. Every individual is different in regard to the
amount and choices of supplements designed to replace
micronutrients missing in the modern food chain that are
necessary to support improved biochemistry and physiology.
Micronutrients are not intended to be used to treat, cure or
ameliorate a disease or abnormal condition. However,
the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994
states that optimal nutrition has been shown by scientists
to be essential for good health, to prevent disease and to
restore health. While micronutrients are virtually non-toxic
food substances, there can be allergies and hypersensitivity
to virtually any substance taken into the body. If an
untoward response is experienced, dietary supplements should
be discontinued."

Help
for these health concerns:
- diabetes,
- high bad
cholesterol and
- autoimmune
metabolic issues
- IBS
or Crohn's

Why
my interest in 2-butoxyethanol ?
It
is the most probable cause of much health damage through the decades
How
prevalent is CFIDS?
