Pray for America - Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!  A Favorite 'hymn' of our nation, "The Marine Corps Hymn" sequenced by Larrie Dee & used with permission

1- What Chat shared about himself on a GWS Discussion Forum

Chad was the first deployed out of Germany, an MP instantly becoming Combat Soldier upon arriving in Kuwait, and also the last to leave, after the war,

1990-1991

2- What he shared on the phone (permission granted to post)

3- Here below,

More info on the chemical & helps.

4- & we have questions about other things:  the crystals that killed bugs, what it was they sprayed on vehicles for a decontaminant, pills that were given to help counteract a chemical exposure.

One source of 2-butoxyethanol exposure must be from the cleaning of his weapon.  He would set the rags he used to clean with on his lap.  The skin rash on his upper thighs is indicative of the leathery skin - that can be caused from 2-butoxyethanol.

Also, he has the multiple & varied other 'package of symptoms' that do accompany.

Chad,

Here's the link for the forgiveness that you were interested in: (that Helen shared with me)  www.valdezlink.com/tulip.htm

which is on this chart

Thanks for permission to share with others on the internet, what you shared with me.  I'd like to put your story on my home page with the picture of the boys.  It's just great how your community loves you.  As you say, you have been a contributing member of your community, Coaching the kids sports, etc.   They know you.

What we need to learn is grouped here:

How doctors can help.

Some best helps for you

Drinking lots of water & skipping junk food is paramount.

Sounds like your body is needing more oxygen, see what you can do with diet, and see also how the doctors might help.  If you ever need a blood transfusion, ask for WHOLE BLOOD, not filtered blood, per what one worker shared.

This page I wrote Sunday
and this one is on headaches off of that.
and

Don't forget,
we want to see a VA hematologist or endocrinologist
who is open to working with Dr. Rea or
at least ordering the test for what's residual in your system from chemical sources.

(retic ratio and have a lab technician look at red blood cells under a microscope)
Check the absolute cell count, I think it's another check for what white blood cells are doing
off of this chart   www.valdezlink.com/check_blood.htm

I have grouped some checklists for you here
If any links don't open, let me know

On this page is the link to the Washington Post
that I was upset with for not letting me put a classified ad, "Looking for the EVOS workers"

But, here is the page on wondering about where 2-butoxyethanol could be in the military.  They probably have many areas to be more careful in, because they too, didn't (& don't) realize how it harms people.

Here are examples of those who are exposed in their work:  www.valdezlink.com/hi.htm

And other sources in every day life that have too much 2-butoxyethanol   Remember,  you have had too much exposure to chemicals - or your body wouldn't be acting the way it is, so surely avoid chemicals hereafter.

Mom needs to be careful, too

'Wings' - God can do the impossible - POEM

I know people are praying for you.  Here is a sample prayer - first the Lord's Prayer with music you can click on.... and then one I shared to pray along with for the 'Bioremediation' Workers of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup.   At the time, I didn't realize this was a widespread national, maybe international problem.  So every time you see the word 'inipol fellow' please put in your name, or I can do one for the 'Gulf War Syndrome' vets along this same line... whether affected by this chemical or not.

In the brief discussion we had, it appears the exploratory brain procedures have hurt more than helped.

The Tribune posted this article - the Community he lives in is hosting a fund raiser on Oct 25, 2003: a portion of which follows,

"Unfortunately, Chad’s health continues to worsen from these chronic illnesses.  He has been unable to work since early May 2003.  He has applied to the Veterans Administration for disability benefits, but this is a long process, and he is still undergoing tests to determine his eligibility."

"As members of our community,

we need to help those who put their life on the line,

by serving in the US Military.

Protecting and providing freedom for people

they don’t know, for causes they might not understand,

but simply because they’re an American Soldier."
