Our troops are still at risk for 'Gulf War Syndrome' harm!
www.valdezlink.com/at_risk.htm - please look at a sampling of these 12 web pages!
2-butoxyethanol type chemicals is
harmful ... for the military,
as well as oil spill cleanup
workers & many other categories of people, too
www.valdezlink.com/what_exposures.htm
expanded
version
Troops clean their guns daily & with the chemicals in CLP - that must be TOO MUCH EXPOSURE! Plus there are other sources, of this chemical - all sources must be identified and exposures limited. The military needs to find and inventory all 'at risk' cleaning degreaser compounds in use since 1989 www.valdezlink.com/chad4.htm
... Congress should ban these
chemicals! (classified as a pesticide)
EPA Reg No: 777-51 in Lysol Tub 'n Tile
I am contacting Congress. I
cannot think of anything worse than harming our own troops so
seriously, as happened to
the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers, and the Gulf War Syndrome
group. Oil spill cleanups follow the 'plan' of the Exxon Valdez
oil spill cleanup - and the chemicals used were worse than the oil
that spilled *
Please share with your contacts in
the military & with Congress - Only Congress can ban these.
EPA cannot always do the right thing. (Aniston, AL ?) EVOS?
It's the Chemical Industry we're up against Their attitude seems to be, "Who cares if someone is hurt, earns us money, doesn't it?"
