Has anything come about with your husband seeing the neurologist?
thanks for any insight and hang in there because I know how frustrating
this whole thing is....take care
Boorl, how did things go with your next
doctor visit? How is your husband now?
I just learned something about a week ago - I've been learning more and
more about the exposures troops had to one solvent in particular -
2-butoxyethanol, as you know (would be similar for 2-2-butoxyethanol (diethylene
glycol monobutyl ether)
Besides just the symptoms being like those of others I know who have
been exposed, I found it on a list
of solvents troops were exposed to
Are
there some helps here on how to test for fatigue?
Do
your bones hurt?
Can
blood damage worsen, and lead to paralysis? (blood damage -
cause of fatigue - red blood cells are made in peripheral organs instead
of just bone marrow - it can lead to paralysis.) I never knew that until
recently.

extramedullary hematopoiesis: red
blood cell production outside the vertebrae. Red blood cells are
derived from the stem cells in the bone marrow throughout the body.
When individuals become severely anemic, there is not enough space in
the ctive bone marrow to produce hemoglobin, and the body begins to
make blood outside the bone marrow: in the spleen, liver, and
sometimes outside the vertebrae, which can compress the spinal cord,
leading to paralysis

Military must inventory all products containing such, and limit exposure
for TODAY's troops! No appropriate protection is being worn for these
chemicals (goggles are most important). For all who give input - THANK
