Pray for America - Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!  A Favorite 'hymn' of our nation, "The Marine Corps Hymn" sequenced by Larrie Dee & used with permission

Chad was the first deployed out of Germany, an MP instantly becoming Combat Soldier upon arriving in Kuwait, and also the last to leave, after the combat phase of the war,

1990 - 1991

Chad talked about the leathery skin on his upper thighs that no dermatologist could help, I asked him if he ever put something on his lap that might have spilled?

He said that there were no tables around, and with all the sand he would clean his rifle while sitting & put the cleaning rag on his lap.

I had already been told by someone in the military that the troops wash their gear every day with products that contain 2-butoxyethanol. *

When Chad shared more, he has the multiple, odd symptoms that are the "2-butoxyethanol poisoning symptoms." Not to say that there aren't other things that are affecting him, too, but for this, I offer the same suggestion list I would give  -  as if he were my own son ... at this point in time.

Alaskans are praying for you:  Missionary, Harriet, & I and my husband and her friend most especially on 10-24  in power and faith! Harriet Brown may be 87, but you should hear her pray

PS

This is what I should have pulled out for Chad as to what the 'package of symptoms' are with 2-butoxyethanol poisoning:  www.valdezlink.com/scenario.htm

These are the symptoms of too much of ANY chemical... how the body will respond to such:

And with this chemical, it causes hemolytic anemia (which doctors don't seem to easily find)  *  *

what other symptoms could happen after

For Vets who've spent so much time working with this mystery, what I'm checking into is only one small sliver of the pie.  I suppose its relevance would depend on how each GWS vet answers these questions.

Write Congress!

For those military in Kuwait after the war:
What happened after the war with a small Austin Texas company, Alpha 30 Environmental?  I don't think they exist any more, & they were doing the 'experiment' with  bioremediation chemicals just like Exxon was at the end of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup.

Even the Saudi Arabia University

would tell me nothing about it!

The Tribune posted this article - the Community he lives in is hosting a fund raiser on Oct 25, 2003: a portion of which follows,

"Unfortunately, Chad’s health continues to worsen from these chronic illnesses.  He has been unable to work since early May 2003.  He has applied to the Veterans Administration for disability benefits, but this is a long process, and he is still undergoing tests to determine his eligibility."

"As members of our community,

we need to help those who put their life on the line,

by serving in the US Military.

Protecting and providing freedom for people

they don’t know, for causes they might not understand,

but simply because they’re an American Soldier."

Remember, We are looking for the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers who were in the NAVY in July, 1989 on... as they are part of the 11,000 EVOS workers, too!

& also those who served in the Gulf War

or

who cleaned the guns/decks any time since July, 1989
