What's This?   What do Workers * of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup need to know? abbrev

Do you feel all-the-time-tired, no matter how much rest you get?

No matter how well you eat or what you take in vitamins?

Do you have difficulty sleeping in the first place?

Are you always feeling depressed... no matter how much good happens in your life?

Do you often feel suicidal?

Do you get headaches often, skin rashes, nose-bleeds?

Are you hostile now, when you didn't used to be?

Do you have difficulty in relationships... marriage? ... work?

Fly-off-the-handle over nothing?   Extreme irritability?   pet peeves *

Do you feel listless and have a lack of motivation?

This depression is part of Central Nervous System Damage  *   Technical info

These are some symptoms of human response to overexposure to 2-butoxyethanol

Actually... it's no longer just the beach workers... *

who would have too much exposure to 2-butoxyethanol in Inipol EAP 22 or Corexit

What went wrong, anyway? *

For one thing, too much of the chemicals was applied...

one source says 230 tons of surfactant (Inipol EAP 22),

Exxon only states 25 tons...

& 2-butoxyethanol is supposed to be kept out of waterways...for sure out of protected bays. *

Then how much Corexit (38% 2-butoxyethanol) was delivered & applied?

Health Study Starting up *

all oil spill cleanup workers are being sought... interview... & some will be health tested...

What are the symptoms of chemical overexposure? *

Primary difference between oil & chemical damage...  *

Don't forget the housewife:   household

& If you have had too much exposure to any chemicals... don't use Lysol Tub 'n Tile, either

... and Avoid all chemicals as much as possible  * Please be careful  *

Have your Doctor check with chemical experts *

or see a doctor who specialized in occupational health ...  in Alaska?

Could it be the the United States doesn't want to know what health damage

2-butoxyethanol does to humans?  *

Come on US... We can do better than this for our own ... & future generations...

As it turned out, the Corexit wash wasn't much more effective.

"It (Corexit) simply didn't seem to do what it was designed to do," said Eric Jorgensen, an attorney for the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund. The environmental group opposed the use of Corexit, and Jorgensen praised agency scientists for saying no.
