Headaches?  Part of this 'Package?'

The headaches I've heard about are like this

So for the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers with 2-butoxyethanol being a known exposure to the 'gulf war syndrome' vet with suspected exposure

The civilian name for 'gulf war syndrome' in my opinion based on the definitions I've found of the symptoms would be CFIDS or one of the Chronic Fatigue Syndromes in which the immune system is involved (If they check further they should find it)

It usually starts of with flu-like symptoms so someone getting headaches and throwing up might mean that they're getting another exposure to the chemical

The harm of 2-butoxyethanol is unrecognized

Some things to consider. If you have a goodly number of ailments on the odd assortment of symptoms and ailments that it causes, you should consider exposure either directly or indirectly to this. AND you can get it from a parent who was strongly exposed. It causes birth defects & some are late to show up.

I think the headaches with this chemical exposure are pituitary headaches.

This chemical should NOT be suspect if all you have is a headache. But if you have fatigue, grouchiness, depression, short term memory loss (brain fog) ... even joints hurting and high or low blood pressure; high or low blood sugar that you didn't have before the fatigue started ... consider this chemical exposure.

If it IS this chemical, then the fatigue is autoimmune hemolytic anemia that doesn't show up in the blood work doctors first look at. BECAUSE the red blood cells are immature & retic rate is high (even if low ... after many years ... the CBC can look OK and the retic rate be TOO low)

Well who knows?  Maybe someone can figure this out!  *
