The Exxon Valdez is a single-hulled ship.

Built in 1986, repaired August, 1989 - July, 1990

when bottom was coated with 3,000 tons of inch-thick steel.

Is the Exxon Valdez really banned by Congress from all US navigable waters?
-part of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990-

Does it meet the criteria of other ships allowed into our port? ... at least until 2010?

As recently as April, 2002 Exxon has requested the court to overturn the ban to no avail.

Valdez.... do you want to see Congress lift the ban?
