Take another Look at Dayville Road Work Site

... during Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup

Price-Ahtna had workers here

Have some died from complications related to Corexit exposure?

They never would have thought so... It's being looked into

Red bags of oil waste clean up rags were taken to Dayville Road and incinerated.

Sometimes work stopped to give the eagle's nest a breath of fresh air

... depending on how the wind blew!

It is said that some of this was burned;

some was buried;

most waste is stated by NOAA to have been shipped to

"an Oregon landfill the closest facility certified to properly handle the waste." *

4-28-03   "An eye witness in those days reported that

Robe River residents complained when the wind shifted

& the 2 incinerators at Dayville Dump blew fumes their way...

... Each incinerator was just barely within allowable EPA air standards;

but one big incinerator would not have been;

so they put 2... side by side;

If Corexit was at this location as another worker reports,

then 2-butoxyethanol, which damages blood, was mixed with oil?

Did  Steve  Provant  live  in  Robe  River  then?

Did DEC shut this operation down?

Why is it not mentioned?

Note:  If Exxon's Corexit was being burned, so was Ethylene Oxide -

As Ethylene Oxide was in Corexit 9580 - Any Exposure is Carcinogenic!  *

At the Dayville site there was a lot of rope from boats...

& other 'good stuff' discarded.

Did anyone use it as a salvage yard

& get exposed to chemicals unaware?

When the original Corexit was moved in July, 1989

from the airport to an undisclosed location

... was it to Dayville?
