Brothers?
Just as in War Time,
We don't put brothers on the same hazardous mission...
or the same navy ship,
we should not put brothers side by side in experimental
hazardous cleanups... such as the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup really was:
the oil was bad enough,
but what happened with the chemicals was unthinkable!
You could wipe out whole families...
Such as these I've talked with:

Of the 3 sets of brothers... of which a brother from each of 2 sets has now died... One appears to be from the exposure to Inipol EAP 22 - Paul lived in Haines; he wouldn't 'sell out' to Exxon... said he, "There are others who matter here." His daughter struggles to go to college - Not having your dad is very sad.
Another a native man in South Central Alaska was in the Corexit trials: he had bumps appearing on his body (lymphoma?) and enlarge testicle, surgically removed... couldn't stay awake (hovering in and out of a coma?) Family thought he was lazy... not wanting to work; Not so! Before this EVOS work he was the camp cook on hunting outings...very energetic and hard working - no, not so! |
