Subject: U.S. Department of Labor

This you are not going to believe.  Several months ago if not years ago I filed a claim against Exxon for Chemical exposure, even though at the time in 1990 and 1991 I was working under a contract, sort of like a sub-contractor par say and transporting their chemicals to the beach workers. Well today I got a letter from the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, from the head Director himself ( Charles D. Lee ) Administering Longshoremen's and Harbor Worker's Compensation Act that Exxon has 14 day's to pay me in full from 1991 thru today or for however long I am Disabled, plus all Medical and anything else that falls under section 7 ( A ) and ( B ), also if they fail to pay me by the 14 days all monies will accrue 10% interest until it is paid in full.

This really made my day, I have know doubt Exxon will appeal, but who cares, I mean I have the U.S. Department of Labor on my side now and I think that other agencies will follow suit, This is great, I know this will brings joy to your hearts because we have fought for so long and now all the duck's are finally getting in a row.  I would send a copy of the letter but my scanner is on the blink; but trust me we have just leaped over one of the biggest obstacles we have had and finally people are listening.

Let's not give in a bit.  I figure if we keep the pressure on these people we will prevail; and we have.  Have a wonderful weekend and I remain committed to our cause more than ever.
