Americans need the help of the medical Profession ... this is a bigger problem than just the 10,000 workers of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup |
Know anyone who paints
or is confined in a small area - just painted?
Know anyone who cleans their home?
Or these jobs? *
|
Do you have many of these symptoms? or these? Ask your doctor to consider 2-butoxyethanol poisoning if you've had exposure to this as a cleaning chemical, as a paint chemical, or in dry cleaning or plastics; (or in oil cleanup 1989 * ) Even grandmas who've regularly used such cleaning products as Lysol Tub 'n Tile, 409 Cleaner, and Glass Plus are at risk... build up of 2-butoxyethanol is cumulative ... over a longer period of time, too OSHA was recently concerned about this family of chemicals.
Why? What did they find out? Some symptoms of chemical overexposures If you are currently under a doctor's care, and there is difficulty locating what is wrong with you, ask the doctor to check for acquired hemolytic anemia and for kidney and liver function Eyesight problems? Have a specialist check the retinas Also... avoid chemicals as much as possible from now on; Check this info: |
Some Things to DO -
Workers Exposed to 2-butoxyethanol & other chemicals
including OIL
|
What will workers of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill need additional blood testing for? What to be tested for beside blood counts?
With the exposure the bioremediation workers & pontoon boat crews had to Inipol EAP 22 .. with the gear they had and the strong concentration of 2-butoxyethanol ... how could anyone escape the hemolytic anemia?
Any workers with Corexit have triple the poison and some ethylene oxide to be concerned about.
DEC guys were nearby... even Coast Guard inspectors
One worker's doctor was concerned about red blood cell anemia with the worker's having 3 tests in the following ranges: RBCs 4.54-4.82; hemoglobin 12.5-13.2; hematocrit 38.2 each time If the doctor had known about strong exposure to 2-butoxyethanol, he could have tested for hemolytic anemia caused from solvents.

|
Thing of it is - Hemolytic Anemia Shows up early... And STAYs... If other complications show up - It's not JUST that, but the 'Hide-out' Hemolytic Anemia, too wondering... whether with lesser exposures the CNS is damaged but not the blood? |

Ask your doctor to request
blood work from Accu-Chem There
are only a couple of labs in the country that do this kind of work,
sorry I don't know another to recommend, however.
... to consult with one of
those expert in chemical exposures
Should be able to have the local lab do the
blood draw in Accu-Chem kits & send it
to them for evaluation
If your doctor is not in the same
city you are,
he/she can order from the local
lab closest to you ... to get the kits & do the blood draw
|
|
These are laboratories which can help the chemically sensitive and his/her doctor.

He would order
from Accu-Chem Laboratories, 990 N. Bowser Road, Suite 800, Richardson, TX 75081 Your doctor can order these tests, too; your nearest lab can do the blood draw Dr Rea is willing to do a medical overview for $250; however, you would have to travel to Dallas, TX Dr Rea may recommend other tests, too

Let's put the Gulf-War Syndrome Vets thru this battery of chemical testing, too. They deserve more information... & why is it that the symptoms they have are the same as that of 2-butoxyethanol poisoning? |
